Zohran Mamdani Pledges a 'Dawn' for New York City in First Address
On his initial day in his new role, Zohran Mamdani committed to “reinvent” New York City, declaring “a different age” and an ambitious beginning to his term.
A Historic Figure
The young political star, who was a relatively obscure state assemblyman, has become the city's first Muslim mayor. He also made history by being the inaugural to be sworn in using the Qur'an.
