Much like Storm Claudia hit the north-west the prior day, the home side blew Manchester United aside at the Etihad. It was a statement 3-0 victory for the City coach's side owing to goals from Rebecca Knaak, Shaw and Hemp. It was a performance that clearly signaled their championship potential as they strengthened their place at the WSL pinnacle.

Consecutive Defeats for Manchester United
