During a visit to a cathedral in Staffordshire on the start of the week, the King was confronted by a protester who questioned him about Prince Andrew's relationship with disgraced financier Epstein.

The individual demanded to know how long the monarch had been known about his brother's association with Jeffrey Epstein, and also questioned whether he had instructed the police to "cover up" for Prince Andrew.

Amid the heckling, there were throngs of fans and applause for the monarch, who was visiting the region for an ceremony.

Prince Andrew's connections with Jeffrey Epstein have been under close examination in the past few weeks. The prince, who gave up his royal duties earlier this month, has strongly denied any misconduct.

"For how long have you been aware about Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein? Have you asked the police to conceal for him?"

The King did not respond but continued meeting fans, some of whom chanted "God Save The King". One supporter can be heard requesting him for a hug.

Another woman outside the venue was also heard telling the heckler to "go away" and to "shut up".

Controversy Reignited by Memoir

The controversy over the Duke of York's links to Jeffrey Epstein has been reignited by sexual abuse claims repeated in Virginia Giuffre's recently released book.

In the memoir, the accuser says she had sex with the prince on three separate occasions, including one instance with Jeffrey Epstein and "several other minors"

Prince Andrew, who reached a financial settlement with the plaintiff in 2022, has repeatedly denied any misconduct. In 2019, he told a news program he did not remember meeting Ms Giuffre "ever", and that they "never had any sort of intimate relations."

New Inquiries Over Lifestyle and Housing

But recently, fresh questions have been asked about how he is able to fund his way of life despite not being a active member of the royal family.

The disclosure that he has only ever paid a nominal fee on his Royal Lodge has heightened the examination over his living arrangements - even though he made large payments initially, including for improvements.

The political party said he should be called in front of members of parliament to give evidence about his rental agreement of his lodge.

But last Thursday, the authorities refused to give MPs time to discuss the prince's titles or his residence, despite increasing calls for scrutiny.

Buckingham Palace has not issued a statement on whether the Duke of York might relocate of his home - or where he might reside.
