Incredible $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
Following a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.
Primary Feature
The standout feature is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.
A regional fantasy map generated in the CC3+ software platform.
Package Levels
Basic Package
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

For a minimum of $30, the comprehensive package includes all the following:

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, urban centers, and continents in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for cartography beginners considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.
Philanthropic Aspect
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief. The Bundle Filters option appear near the page top, though users may also choose any amount for a donation on the right side of the page. There's also an donation allocation menu immediately below, enabling adjustment of the distribution percentage goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
