Automobiles in German Town Discovered Marked with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Police
Authorities reported they were contacted by a resident who discovered a automobile in Hanau covered with reddish fluid

Around fifty cars have been covered with what seems to be human blood in the Germany's city of Hanau near Frankfurt, police confirm police.

Cars, walls and postboxes were marked, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they stated in a statement.

Police say they were alerted late on Wednesday night, when a resident noticed that a automobile in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been covered with a reddish liquid.

The fluid had been placed in the form of a swastika, they reported.

Law enforcement then located many other smeared cars and house walls in the nearby vicinity.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under regulations banning the public display of Nazi-era symbols.

Law enforcement state early analysis suggest the fluid was probably human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no indication as to where it came from; officials are currently not aware of any physical harm in relation with the occurrence," they commented.

City officials announced they were attempting "to resolve the incident" and have appealed to the public for details.

A senior political figure stated the attack rendered him without words and needed to be solved promptly.

"This event affects the center of Hanau and reopens the trauma of the right-wing attack in 2020," he posted on social media, mentioning the death of nine individuals by a gunman focusing on people of immigrant origin in 2020.
